Slowly Becoming What I Want to Be
Reflections from Debbie Murphy on the small, meaningful steps of becoming the person she wants to be - and how that journey shapes the Foundation’s work.
To the Little Girl I Once Wondered About
When I was little I wondered who I’d become. Now, as a grown woman and a mother, I wish I could hug that little girl and tell her she’s beautiful, strong, and unstoppable. Life taught me hard lessons - depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the struggles of parenting - but those pieces made me whole. My children remind me of who I was and who I still am becoming. To that little girl: keep dreaming. You are more than you were told - you are unstoppable.
